Real Madrid will play Schalke 04 in the Champions League round of 16. The Whites will play the first leg at the Veltins-Arena on 26th February and the second leg at the Santiago Bernabéu on 18th March. The draw for the quarter-finals will take place on 21st March, and for the semi-finals on 11th April. The final will be played on 24th May in Lisbon.
The German team started the Bundesliga with a mixed bag of results and are outside the Champions League places at the moment. They made it into round of 16 after finishing ahead of Basel and Steaua Bucharest and behind Chelsea in Group E. Draxler, with three goals, is their top European goal-scorer.
