Real Madrid highest scorer at home in the five big leagues

The team has scored 23 goals in its seven league matches at the Santiago Bernabéu

The two most recent routs at home against Sevilla (7-3) and Real Sociedad (5-1) have helped to make Real Madrid the highest scoring team at home in Europe’s five most important leagues. The team coached by Ancelotti has scored 23 times in the seven league matches it has played in the Santiago Bernabéu, at an average of over three goals per game. Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona, with 21 goals at home, are next behind the Whites.

The supporters who come to the Santiago Bernabéu have been enjoying spectacular football and a lot of goals since the start of the league campaign. In the opening matches the Whites took all three points against Betis (2-1), Athletic (3-1) and Getafe (4-1). After not scoring against Atlético and easily beating Málaga 2-0, the team has increased its figures in its most recent home matches: seven goals against Sevilla and another five against Real Sociedad.

No other team in the Spanish, English, Italian, German or French championships can match Real Madrid’s scoring record. Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona are next on 21 goals. Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Mönchengladbach and Manchester City all have 20 at home.
