CUNNINGHAM
Born in London on March 8, 1956, to Jamaican parents. He
began competing in football matches in the Orient Club, Birmingham, in 1974, and in 1976 moved to West Bromwich Albion, of the same English town.
In 1979 he was signed by Real Madrid, being president Luis de Carlos, for the "historic" amount of 190 million pesetas and revenue of fifteen million pesetas per year for the player. Victim of various injuries, the November 16, 1980, the Betis player, Biscuits, gave him a stamp that broke the capsule of the first toe of the left foot and underwent surgery on December 11th.
